The Aurora Fox will be presenting the regional premiere of Carter Lewis’ coming-of-age comedy, WHILE WE WERE BOWLING opening April 8th, 2011. Performance dates/times are: Apr 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, 6, 7 at 7:30pm and Apr 17, 24, May 1, 8 at 2:00 pm
A coming-of-age comedy told through the eyes and experience of 17-year-old Lydia. However, While We Were Bowling is not simply about the experiences of one quirky family. It's about more than Buffalo and bowling, too. It's about the evolution of attitudes and awareness that came during the shift between the '50s and '60s; how one led up to the other and about how very different the two decades were.
