Go Beyond the Performance

Featuring “Feeding Beatrice”

Page to Stage invites community members to explore the creative process behind live theater through two programs connected to the Aurora Fox Arts Center’s fall production of “Feeding Beatrice.”

Presented in partnership with Aurora Public Library and the Aurora Fox Arts Center, the series offers audiences an opportunity to engage with the play before and after attending the production. “Feeding Beatrice,” by playwright Kirsten Greenidge, is a spine‑chilling gothic tale that follows a contemporary Black couple haunted by the ghost of a young white girl. Equal parts haunting and thought‑provoking, the Aurora Fox regional premiere explores themes of race, class and the American dream.

The first Page to Stage event, a guided script discussion, was held Sept. 19 and invited participants to explore the text with members of the creative team.
