Directed by donnie l. betts, this compelling production marks a bold direction for the future of the Aurora Fox, rooted in community, connection and powerful storytelling.

Set in Memphis Lee’s Pittsburgh coffee shop, “Two Trains Running” follows a group of regulars navigating a neighborhood on the brink of redevelopment. Wilson’s sharp, soulful writing reveals the hopes, disappointments and quiet strength of a community facing profound change — all delivered with the humor, heart and humanity that define his American Century Cycle.

August Wilson’s “Two Trains Running” is not part of a subscription package. Current Seasin 41 Flexpass holders receive early access from Oct. 15 to 19, before public sales begin Oct. 20 with early-bird pricing.

In response to recent patron survey feedback, the Aurora Fox is expanding ticketing options and preparing additional 2027 programming that reflects the community’s call for bold, diverse and locally rooted storytelling, with more details to be shared this fall.

Additional ticketing information will be available soon. For questions, call 303.739.1970.

August Wilson's Two “Trains Running” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com.
